Julia Grass is a pseudonym for the artist, although it was not taken by chance: great-grandmother Baroness von Grass served to create a pseudonym. The real name is Marina Naumova.
Was born and grew up in Moscow, Russia. My parents were architects, and from childhood I was surrounded by a creative atmosphere.
I love people, animals, I love graphics and modeling.
There were always a lot of hobbies. This is pottery and chasing.
It’s a sanatorium that my parents designed.
I had to design out various projects from river ships to apartments.

I “fell in love” with pumpkins in 2016, and since then, not a single day passes, so I did not spend a day without them.
Now I grow decorative pumpkins myself and for me this process is very exciting!
Of course, in our climate, decorative pumpkins do not fully ripen. That’s why, I grow them in a special greenhouse.
And my friends in the Caucasus help me in this. It is there African pumpkins are grown for my lamps.
Working with a pumpkin requires good vision and a strong hand. My hands are really strong. They had to do a lot.
Pumpkin is my recent addiction.
Although all my life I am engaged in design.
Design of living places, courts, city celebrations. And now it’s pumpkins and Pippo. Pippo – this is how I call my toy-talismans
My passion for toys makes my family feel some inconvenience.
After all, I make a lot of scetches and they also need to be stored!
But my daughter writes about me like this:
